Information about Redmi Note 13 has recently appeared on social networking sites showing that it will continue to be the cheap king of the smartphone market.
The first half of the year of 2023 has passed and Xiaomi has begun to reveal information about the Redmi Note 13. The new mid-range series will launch around the end of this year in China and reports suggest it will run MIUI 15 shortly. when shipped.
While details about the lineup are still fairly short, a Redmi Note 13 smartphone has been spotted on the EEC certification site alongside a mysterious Redmi phone. Here are the details.
Tech Outlook discovered a Redmi smartphone with model number 2312DRAABG on the EEC certification website. The previous IMEI listing shows that this model number belongs to Redmi Note 13 series smartphones.
However, it is not clear if it is a vanilla model or one of the Pro phones. The store also discovered an unidentified Redmi phone on the EEC with model number 23090RA98G. Could it be another Note 13 series phone? Possibly, but we’ll have to wait for more details.
As usual, the certification listing doesn’t reveal anything interesting beyond the model numbers of the two phones. Leaks about the new Note 13 lineup are just starting to surface and we expect to see bigger developments in the coming days.
So far, it is known that the Redmi Note 13 phones will run MIUI 15. The custom skins could be based on Android 13 or Android 14. Reports also suggest that the upcoming phones will feature punch-hole OLED displays in between 6.7 inches.
The smartphone panels are said to lack the plastic mounts found in high-end smartphones and offer minimal bezels on all four sides.
Currently, there is no news about the launch date of the phone. A China tip has hinted at a launch around half a year.
